Web-Enabled Communications Facility Case Study

posted in: Government, News, Uncategorized, work

When a large military contractor needed a web-enabled communications facility that was both portable and powerful, they turned to Bryan Tool & Machining. The need was simple and straightforward, enable US Soldiers stationed in Iraq to communicate with family members back home using web-based video conferencing, e-mail and chat, in a facility that would double as a recreational area.

Bryan Tool was eager and willing to rise to the challenge. The entire facility needed to be self-contained and capable of being delivered by aircraft. The work resulted in a mobile Web Cafe that was rugged enough to withstand both deployment and the demands of daily desert use, while providing a solution that resulted in increased troop morale.
